My Reasons

I don't think there's anything about Dei-chan that I don't love. He's dedicated, bold, confident, skilled.. a true artist in every sense of the word. I normally don't pay much attention to villains in anime, but he was the exception- someone so passionate about his hobby that he didn't let anything stand in his way. From the first moment he stepped foot into the series, I knew he would be interesting, but I never anticipated how much of an impact he would have on me. Just like he would have wanted, his time in the series was like an explosion: brief, powerful and stunning. Even though I don't follow the series now, I can't help but remain fascinated by this amazing person.

I've always wanted to make a tribute to him, because he has always been one of my favourite characters, and the catalyst came in the form of an email from Courtney asking if I wanted to adopt his fanlisting. Although I am retired from the fanlisting world, I couldn't say no- Dei-chan has always been so special to me. That approval was just what I needed to finally get moving on this tribute.

Although Dei-chan might not have been a major character, for me he is the one reason that series will always have a special place in my heart. I hope that when this site is done, I can share my insights into his character and maybe help people to appreciate just how awesome he really is.
